Tennis tips for Winter, there are several tips i give my tennis and personal training clients. First check that forcast a couple days in advance and pick times that will be warm. There are some great way to keep your hands warm, there is a mitten that goes on your hand that allows you to have your hand one the racket without wearing gloves. hard to control that the racket. there are some great hand warmers at REI that goes in your glooves, I use one and swap it between hands. fortunatly Winter is short in Atlanta, so another 6 weeks and we should be clear of the cold weather. I still teach all year round so people are doing it
Group Cardio tennis schudule for Winter 2012 Saturday and Sunday 12am, Mondays and Tuesdays 7pm lindberge/ Peachtree area of Atlanta. The program is fast paced and instructionial,teaching all phases of the game of tennis including, Volleys, Ground Strokes, Serves and playing controlled points. Class size is 4 to 8 people averaging around 5 per class with the duration of the class around 70 to 80 minutes. Info about the group tennis, the program is given by USPTA (United States Professional Tennis Association) Certified Fitness with Jeff Atlanta, In addition I'm a certified personal trainer, Fitness Coach who can come to your tennis court or Gym, fitness center, work gym etc. Jeff is a mobile personal trainer and tennis instructor who can come to you 7 days a week.

This tennis group does tennis instruction, tennis drills, in a quick cardio intensive manner, playout tennis points and play mini tennis matches. Fitness with Jeff also does team tennis Coaching ALTA (Atlanta Lawn and Tennis Association), K-Swiss and USTA.
Cost for the Tennis instruction and group tennis classes depends on how many come out.
$60 for 1 person, for the group classes the cost is $15 or $20.
Advanced tennis drills and playing sessions
This group is designed for the advanced player but can be done with any group of tennis players. This session is part tennis drills and instruction and about 40% playing points and tennis situations. for 3 people for the cost would be $30 for a hour and half, Friday's 3:45-5:30pm, Sunday's 11am-12:30pm.
